March 31, 2016 Public Meeting
The City of Georgetown held a public meeting to share an overview of the project and public involvement process and collect input from the community on characteristics of the area that they enjoy and opportunities for improvements along with any project concerns.
The meeting was an open house format and no formal presentation was given. Information was shared on the project need and purpose, the process, goals and evaluation criteria, the NEPA process, historical information, and existing conditions. An environmental constraints map and an aerial map of the area was shared.
The City and project team thank everyone that took the time to attend the meeting and share their input on the project and process. There were over 100 attendees at the meeting and 128 survey responses, 31 mapped comments, and an additional 191 comments received. Collecting Input
To collect input on the project and process a mapping exercise was held where attendees shared comments directly on the area map. In addition, a survey was conducted and general comments were collected. While comments are collected at all times, to be included in the meeting report they must be received or post marked by Friday, April 22, 2016.
